Eyewitnesses recounted the harrowing scene as Ahmed fought valiantly against the relentless force of the murky waters, his desperate pleas for assistance drowned out by the ferocious rush of the river.

Despite the swift response of Officer Commanding ASP Michael Lissa and his dedicated team from the Operation Support Division (OSD), who promptly mobilized a search and rescue mission, Ahmed’s courageous struggle proved futile.
