Sierra Leone’s President, Julius Maada Bio, engaged in a pivotal discussion with the President of the United Arab Emirates, His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, on Wednesday, March 6th, 2024, in Abu Dhabi. The meeting, following a recent investment visit to China, underscored a commitment to fortifying ties and exploring avenues for enhanced investment, particularly in economic and trade sectors.
President Bio and His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan exchanged insights on various regional and international matters of mutual interest, with a keen focus on bolstering bilateral collaboration to fulfill the development aspirations of their respective nations and citizens.
Highlighting the UAE’s strategic vision to strengthen relations with African countries, Sheikh Mohamed emphasized the pursuit of opportunities conducive to sustainable growth, prosperity, and stability.
In response, President Bio extended his sincere appreciation for the warm reception and underscored the UAE’s supportive role in Sierra Leone. He emphasized his eagerness to foster robust partnerships between the UAE and Sierra Leone across diverse domains.
