In a bid to bolster maritime governance and cooperation in the West African region, the Sierra Leone Maritime Administration (SLMA) yesterday extends a warm welcome to a delegation from The Gambia Maritime Administration. The visit, aimed at facilitating a benchmarking study tour, signifies a significant stride towards fostering collaboration and knowledge exchange among neighboring nations.
Led by esteemed officials from The Gambia Maritime Administration, the delegation’s agenda includes a comprehensive review of Sierra Leone’s maritime practices, progress, and challenges. Over the course of their stay, they will engage with key stakeholders, partake in workshops, and conduct site visits to various maritime facilities and ports across Sierra Leone.
