Ansu Samura and Malcolm Kamara made their first appearance before Magistrate Sahr Kehkura of Pademba Road Court No 1 Freetown on 2 count charges ranging from Conspiracy contrary to law and House breaking and Larceny contrary to section 26 (i) of the Larceny Act 1916.
According to the charge sheet both the accused on Monday 15th January 2024, at the Operational Support Department Compound King tom the western area in Freetown, Broke and entered into the dwelling house of Ibrahim Sorie Mansaray and stole therein the sum of Three thousand, eight hundred new Leones (Le 3,800) property of the said complainant.
When the charges was read and explained to the accused persons no plea was taken.
The accused persons were unrepresented by a legal representative
The prosecutor Sergeant 9939 Mohamed Lahai seeks for a short adjournment date for him to get proper conference with his witnesses
Meanwhile Magistrate Kekura refused bail and sent the accused person to the male correctional facility in Freetown.
The matter is adjourned to the 1st February 2024.
