The Vice President of Sierra Leone, Dr Mohamed Juldeh Jalloh with the constitutional mandate to ensure that there is total peace, stability and security at the country. The Vice President of the Republic of Sierra Leone Dr Mohamed Juldeh Jalloh has paid visit to the Pademba Road Correctional Center after the attempted failed coup on November 26th 2023.
The Vice President maintained that Sierra Leone is a very democratic and tolerant state and that the unfortunate incident on November 26th caused a lot of panic to the precious lives of not citizens only but to the coherent democratic society which the nation has built for quite a period of time now.
Dr Juldeh affirms that President Bio has received solidarity and support from different heads of state through the unfortunate and disheartening moment in the country especially when the government has made tremendous progress to build, work, and move the country together in the most successful ways possible so that Sierra Leone as a country will continue to be given the accolades it fully deserves all over the world.
Furthermore, he maintained that the government as many other nations during this prevalent time in the world is facing challenges to support reforms, and economic development but reassured that they are doing their ultimate best to steady the prices of commodities, create job opportunities, and achieve the big five change of President Bio agenda, but with the troubling and worrying scenes which occurred on November 26th has caused such unfortunate incidents which is really disheartening and worrying to every Sierra Leonean both home and abroad.
Additionally, the Vice President asserts that the situation is totally under control, adding that arrests have been effected in suspected areas and as highlighted by the President no matter the status of these individuals in the society as long as they are involved to evade and cause mayhem and violence to the country then they will be held accountable with the full and due process of the rule of law.
He concluded by appreciating all the brave and gallant soldiers that were killed and put their lives on the line to protect the Democracy and peace of the country. He furthers that every citizen of Sierra Leone should help the government to ensure peace and sanity in the state and by bringing any suspicious of illegal things in their communities and to expose every evil assailant that want to threaten the peace of the state adding that God will continue to preserve and protect the nation from every planned evil activities and to let Sierra Leone lead above all.
