In the aftermath of the attack on the wilberforce military barracks armoury and the opening of the male and female correctional centres by the assailants on sunday, the united kingdom has made a reassuring commitment to support s/leone`s democratic progress.

“Recent weeks have seen the launch of the electoral review committee & a visiting delegation looks at opportunities to invest, supporting job creation and the threat to stability puts recent gains at risk for all. It has rightly been condemned in the strongest terms,” it furthers.
The statement welcomes concerns from all political parties & regional bodies, calling out violence which cannot be justified and call for unity; and praises the actions of security forces to restore calm and the commitment to hold those responsible to account.
