This man right here, Mr. Fodie Konneh has shaped the lives of many young people including myself who passed through his mentorship. He is someone who has opened doors to career development and has made life fulfilling for people like me and a lot of others. He is also the distinguished Chief Executive Officer of National Public Procurement Authority.
He is self-disciplined and result oriented person. Someone that is passionate about his job and leads well. Chief Konneh is a top notch and good force to reckon with. He is also an easy going person that is very transformational and focused on duty. Coming from a humble background, chief Konneh has respected and shared his vision with everyone.
His appoint was not a surprised to many of us who knew how dedicated and hardworking he is. His Excellency President Julius Maada Bio did no mistake in appointing this trailblazers and administrative oriented Chief Executive of the National Public Procurement Authority. His track record as Director of Procurement at the Ministry of finance and Ministry of Health and Sanitation was immense and laudable, so bringing him to head the National Public Procurement Authority is a blessing and justice to that institution. Chief Konneh type of personality is rare to find as one of the country’s top notch procurement experts in Sierra Leone.
Chief Konneh is a calm and calculated young man, and he is determined and extremely passionate about ensuring the effectiveness of NPPA as a regulatory Authority and monitoring public procurement in Sierra Leone on all procurement activities. He is among the few appointees which approval didn’t have any controversy, and he was praised by the Members of Parliament present by for excellent performance in the various sectors he had worked in recent times. He was considered by his peers as a very humbled man with a high sense of professionalism.
As a philanthropist, Chief Konneh philanthropist activities know no family and blood linage. He has helped countless of people including offering scholarship to students from various regions. He is also an astute advocate for young, and his support towards people around him is just beyond human imagination. His financial, moral and psychological support towards the youth is unwavering. A state man and senior citizens that is willing to receive and respond to anyone’s problem in this hard time of ours is really hard to find but you have been an epitome of example.
Chief Konneh life’s to serve the public and personality has endeared him to thousands of Sierra Leoneans both home and abroad, yet Chief Konneh has managed to stay humble and down to earth. You would be hard – pressed to find a professional like him or at his status less affected by his success or status which is incredible because I can’t imagine the kind of pressure that comes with the intensity of adoration he receives.
Chief Konneh true motivation is to improve the lives of people through generous donation and initiatives, while inspiring those around him through good deeds behind closed doors. While his astonishing professionalism has garnered him nationwide acclaim, it is Chief Konneh’s remarkable leadership skills and his ability to conquer both personal and professional challenges that truly sets him apart as an inspiring role model. Conclusively, Chief Konneh’s appointment as CEO of NPPA has demonstrated his enduring love for procurement. This sense of loyalty and his never ending pursuit of new challenges reveal another facet of leadership- the ability to stay true to one’s values while seeking new horizons.
