Sierra Leone Volleyball Federation has elected new executive to stair the affairs of the Association for the next four coming years.

According to Christopher E.F John as the outgone President of the Federation expressed that he felt good to handing over to a new person that will continue in his developmental trajectory; as he has already  achieved some of his promises in the last four year’s.

He revealed that since 2000 to date Volleyball has reached it cardinal points with its regional Associations across the Country.

Ahmed Khanou the Former Minister of Sports who is the newly elected president of the Sierra Leone Volleyball Federation addressing his members after winning the Elections on oppose said one thing his administration will do is to maintain the key priorities, and vouched never to bring the discipline in to disrepute but to remain competitive in the Country.

He affirmed that during his reigns he want the sports to compete in national and international competitions, and to become the leading sports in Sierra Leone.

 He ended by calling on his team to starts work with immediate effect; as he is determine to work with the Media because it has been very supportive in covering the activities of Volleyball in the Country.

Mr. Khanou announced members of his Executive and their positions:  

1. Florence Amara – who is presently in the USA will now serve as Ambassador for Volleyball. She has served the discipline for more than six years both as Volleyball player and as Referee.

2. Patrick Lobie- currently in Australia is now selected as one of the ambassador for Volleyball in Sierra Leone.  He was among the players that last represented Sierra Leone in the Commonwealth games and did exceptionally well.

Sierra Leone Volleyball Federation has over the years has brought laurels when representing the Country in International and local competitions and they have been tip as the most structure sports disciplines.
