Twenty-two years old Mohamed Momoh Morison a security guard and thirty five years old Momodu Bah Fofanah a security made their first appearance before Magistrate Santigie Bangura of Pademba road court No.3 in Freetown on two count charges to wit Conspiracy to commit a crime contrary to law and Store Breaking and larceny contrary to section 26 1 of the Larceny Act 1916.
According to the particulars of offence on Friday 27th October 2023 at Shapooiji pallonji construction company building site Cape Sierra Hilton Hotel Aberdeen the western area in Freetown conspired together and with other persons unknown to commit a crime to wit store breaking and larceny.
On count two the accused persons on the above date and place stole ninety three cartoons of fasclisbm tiles, ninety five cartoons of proecilin tiles, Forty-one big ribbon of STO gallon paint all to the total sum of one hundred and seventy nine thousand nine hundred and ninety three Leones(179,99300) property of Cape Sierra Hilton Hotel Aberdeen whilst in custody of Shopoorji Pollonji construction company Aberdeen.
When the charge was read and explained to the accused person both pleaded not guilty
The prosecutor Sergeant 9155 Dwight Macarthy seeks for a short adjournment date for him to get proper conference with his witness.
Meanwhile Magistrate Bangura refused bail and sent both accused persons to the male facility in Freetown.
The matter was adjourned to the 16th November 2023 for further hearing, Sergeant 9155 Dwight Macarthy is prosecuting the matter.
