Jericho Road Ministry has asked the Police at Kumaro Police post in Nimikoro Chiefdom Kono District to vacate their previous location in order to allow health staff to do their work.
According to the Police Partnership Board Chairman Yayah Bah, the rlocation of the Police Postis not a bad issue, but must be done in an appropriate manner, owing to the fact that the Police are playing major role in the community to combat crime in Kumaro town – Nimikoro Chiefdom.
He said if the police officers who are there to protect lives and properties do not have base to do their job, it will be detrimental to residents of the town because the criminals will have better ways to create mayhem to innocent citizens.
When speaking to this medium, Mr. Gborie the Kumaro Town Chief said it is true that the police post in Kumaro has been notified to vacate their existing location to give way to the health officers to execute their functions. Mr. Bah said the presence of Jericho Road Ministry Hospital is as well very timely and important as they too are in the community to save lives. He however cautioned that the procedure must be adhered to.
