The National Sports Authority of Sierra Leone has on the 15th April 2021 commenced funding of the Kenema Artificial turf fencing projects.
Following the completion of the installation of the FIFA Artificial Turf Project at the Kenema City Field, the National Sports Authority as part of its Statutory responsibility as enshrined in section 12:1(c) of the NSA ACT 2017, has fully funded the construction of an inner perimeter Fence at the Kenema City Field.
The construction work of the fencing by the Capital construction and General Engineering Services Company has already commenced and is expected to be complete before the end of month.
The NSA wishes to assure all Sierra Leoneans of its fullest commitment in developing and promoting sports in Sierra Leone and similar projects will be extended to other playing Venus and facilities across the Country in due course.
The National Sports Authority is in charge of all the Sporting disciplines in Country.
