The Head Coach of the Pharaohs Rui Vitoria has invited nine foreign based players for the upcoming World Cup qualifiers.
Noticable among the nine players invited are Mohamed Salah and Mohamed Elneny, Eintracht Frankfurt winger Omar Marmoush, Nantes Striker Mostafa Mohamed, and Pendikspor forward Ahmed Kouka Hassan were all named for their opening two World Cup qualifiers.
The Portuguese gaffer included Al-Wakrah SC midfielder Hamdi Fathi, Ittihad Jeddah midfielder Tarek Hamed, and Khaleej FC striker Mohamed Sherif were all called up for the crunch ties.
The Portuguese Coach will start his 2026 World Cup qualifiers Campaign against Djibouti in the Egyptian Capital City before taking on Leone Stars of Sierra Leone on 19 November 2023.
The North African side according to report they will be bring an (82 ) man delegation to Liberia on Private Jet for the World Cup qualifiers against Sierra Leone on 19th November at the SKD Stadium, the delegation includes (18) members of the Technical Staff and (43) players.
Sierra Leone Senior National team Leone Stars Technical Team is expected to announce their (25) man squad ahead of the clash against Ethiopia and Egypt in few days ahead of their World Cup campaign.
Sierra Leone will be playing against Ethiopia away from home in Morocco on the 15th November 2023.
Last Month the team played two international Friendlies matches to prepare the squad ahead of World Cup campaign this month.
Amidu Karim and back room staff will lead Sierra Leone Senior National team Leone Stars to yet another World Cup campaign, following his appointment, the gaffer made it clear he is ready to lead Leone Stars to the World Cup qualifiers with all total commitment and get a solid squad for the qualifiers.
