Sierra Leone international Augustus Kargbo was on target for his side Cesena FC in the Italian Serie C.
The Sierra Leonean foreign based scored brace in Cesena’s 2-1 win.
Augustus scored in the 14th minute before netting in the 72 minute to send Cesena FC in 2nd position with 23 points from 10 games in the Serie C (Group B.)
The Sierra Leone international Augustus Kargbo was pivotal in Cesena’s seroie C Round 11 victory over Carrarese with two goals at the Orogel Stadium Dino Manuzzi on Monday evening.
The Former Crotone attacker scored his second and third of the season in the 14th and 72nd minutes, respectively, to help his side maintain second spot on League standings.
After the win, he said “l’m happy to have given my contribution. As always, I try to give my best and today it was important to win again. We did it, and I am very happy about the victory,” Kargbo told the club website.
He added, “I dedicate my goals to the family. I have an Italian family who came from Crotone. I dedicated the Victory to us for sacrifices we have made. We have had some difficult days because when we don’t win, we are not calm- I dedicate the Victory to us.”
He said at the present moment, he feels very good in Cesena it’s environment where you can do well.
The Sierra Leonean born has been very instrumental for his since joining this and prove to a vital player for both club and Country, the Leone Technical team is expecting the winger to be fit ahead Leone Stars crunch ties against Ethiopia away and four days later hosting Egypt at the S.K.D Stadium in Liberia.

Augustus Kargbo was part of the Sierra Leone Senior National team Leone Stars in last AFCON tournament in Cameroon where he was exceptional for Leone Stars coming from bench and sometimes getting a start space in the team.
