Bo Rangers, the reigning and defending Sierra Leone Premier League champions, will face Mighty Blackpool, the runner-up, in the Community Shield on October 28, 2023, at the Southern Arena in Bo. The match will kick off the new Premier League season.
The match will be played between the winners of the previous season’s Premier League and the second-place team, Mighty Blackpool, and is seen as a curtain-raiser for the new season.
The Community Shield is also a chance for Bo Rangers to assess their new signings and strengthen their team ahead of the new season. The club has already signed Bocakaire Lamin from Kamboi Eagles, and is looking to sign more players in the coming weeks.
