The Vice President of the Republic of Sierra Leone Dr. Juldeh Jalloh has on the 9th April, 2021 visited the people of Masiaka in the Port Loko district, Northern Sierra Leone to inspect the land set aside for the construction of a Soccer pitch and other sporting facilities including Fant Sierra Leone Handball court and the Teqball Headquarter.
The leader of development in Koya Chiefdom, Abdul Kabba Kargbo informed the Vice President that the land which belongs to the community has been allocated for Sports development. The team leader for the field construction project, Unisa Deen Kargbo noted that they have used manual labor to reach the current standard as they need help from the Authorizes to see that part of the Country gets a state of the art sporting facility.
He emphasized that indoor courts will also be constructed. Vice President Dr. Juldeh Jalloh promised to have further discussion on the project. The people of Masiaka are urgently in need of such facilities so that the youth in that part of the Country will have the chance to represent the Country.
