MoFED Opens Economic Resource Center For University Students

The Ministry of Finance and Economic Development (MoFED) and the President of the National Union of Sierra Leone Students has opened an Economic Resource Center for university students at the Ministry of Finance and Economic Development building, George Street, Freetown.

According to the Press release from the National Student Union of Sierra Leone which reads, “Dear students, the leadership of the National Union of Sierra Leone Students is pleased to inform all university students that the Ministry of Finance and Economic Development has established a dedicated resources center for your benefit.’’ The released added that the resource center had been established to facilitate student’s research, endeavors and provide a platform for the comprehensive understanding of complex economic concepts.

The press release furthered informs students about the location of the research center and operating hours of the center.  The release stated that the center is located at Ministry of Finance and Economic Development Compound at George Street, Freetown. Operating hours is from 10: 00 am, 1: 00 pm. Monday to Friday.

NUSS press release also explained that the center offered access to Economic Journal and Publications, Research Assistance and guidance. ‘’The Ministry of Finance staff will be available to guide and assist you in your research pursuits. They will also host sessions to explain and simplify intricate economic concepts to ensure that you have the necessary resource and support to excel in your studies,’’ NUSS press release said.

National Union of Sierra Leone Students expressed that the initiative is a testament to the commitment of the Ministry of Finance to foster academic excellence and empower the future leaders of this nation. They encouraged all students regardless of their study to take advantage of this valuable resource. NUSS also advised students to take the opportunity and make the most of it to enhance their knowledge and academic skills. They said that the resource center would greatly benefit the academic community and contribute to personal growth and professional growth.
