Following the ongoing special judicial week session in some parts of the country, the BOMBALI resident judge Justice Mohamed Bawoh is reportedly presiding over at least eighty eight (88) cases of which thirty four (34) are sexual offence related.

 According to our correspondent since the commencement of the said special judicial week session in BOMBALI DISTRICT Justice Bawoh among the cases presided included were the sexual penetration of a year and one month old baby girl, one murder case during the August 10 security turmoil in that part of the country, another murder case including a year old baby who was alleged to have drowned in a bucket of water, child trafficking and theft etc.

Last Friday Justice Mohamed Bawoh discharged at least two cases that had over stayed in his court without the witnesses showing up for trail.

 Meanwhile, state counsels P L Williams and I Tholley are prosecuting the said matters at the same time representing the state. Whilst Lawyers O B Kamara, V Koroma and J E Turay from the legal Aid Board Sierra Leone are serving as the defense counsel for the accused persons.
