The clergy and congregation of the new HARVEST GLOBAL MINISTRIES CENTRAL House of Gathering at Old Railway Quarters in Bo have on last Sunday celebrated what they called family and Communion service on the Theme “Resilient Life.”

Delivering the word of God taken from the book of Acts chapter 4:1-12 with the topic “Qualities of a resilient life” the GLOBAL team leader of the new HARVEST GLOBAL MINISTRIES Rev. Dr. Shodankeh Johnson foremost described resilient life as an unstoppable life even though there are pains and sufferings.

He said Christians as disciples of Jesus Christ are expected to bounce back no matter what difficulties and challenges they are faced with.  According to him for Christians to succeed in life they have to be resilient, noting without resilient life the world is Christian’s portion.  The man of God whilst imploring Christians especially the congregation to be resilient in life he cited the story of Peter and John in the Bible who were put in jail for what they believed and further encouraged all present to be resilient in every sphere of life.

The preacher man pointed out the following as Qualities of living a resilient life: Fearless and bold, Holy Spirit filled and turning challenges into opportunities.  Justifying the aforementioned Qualities of living a Resilient life, the global team leader of the New HARVEST GLOBAL MINISTRIES ‘Pa Johnson’ as he is fondly called maintained that the too much unsuccessful living by Christians in the world today is as a result of the conspicuous absent of the Holy spirit in the lives of Christians as he put it “No Holy spirit No Resilient life” Rev. Dr. Johnson noted that pity parties do not help and he therefore urged Christians to turn their ugly situations or challenges into opportunities.  He concluded by saying that living a resilient life is not an option.

Meanwhile, the different prayer points: Let us pray that God will give us the power to accomplish all the good things our faith prompts us to do, Let us pray that we will stand firm and keep a strong grip on the teachings of the word of God,  Let us pray that the Lord’s message will spread rapidly and be honored wherever it goes, Let us pray that God will rescue us from wicked and evil people,  Let us pray for emotional and physical healing in families whilst the breaking of Bread and the drinking of the blood of Jesus Christ formed high point of the family and COMMUNION service.
