A twenty (20) year old man identified as Mohamed Allie the last son of Madam Femusu Marrah of Kpetema Newsite in Gbense chiefdom koidu city Kono district has reportedly hanged himself to death on the 24th August 2023.
Talking to our correspondent the eldest brother of the deceased Abu Kamara explained that his younger brother Mohamed Allie formerly of Kpetema Newsite community in koidu city was a quiet and harmless gentleman who never had problems with anyone.
He further pointed out that the deceased despite his aforementioned virtues he was very stubborn and as a result didn’t listen to anyone’s advised and regularly came home very late especially at night.
Abu Kamara the deceased elder brother told this medium that prior to his brother’s predicament he was passing around telling people that he was going to kill himself for unexplained reasons. When asked to know if the deceased was of sound mind?
Abu Kamara disclosed that the deceased was of sound mind but suffered from heart failure and acute stomach ache adding he was once taken to the koidu government hospital for treatment some months ago but could not ask his mother to know the present health status of his younger brother.
“If there was any other difficult health problem Mohamed was going through apart from the aforesaid sicknesses he never complained noting suicide would not have been the best option”, Abu Kamara lamented. Meanwhile, the remains of Mohamed Allie were taken to the koidu government hospital mortuary awaiting postmortem examination and burial later.
