Larceny At Dwelling House: Student Remanded

Nenebah Adam Jalloh who is the Director of Nutrition Vice president office dragged one Marian Kanneh a student to court for alledgely stealing over five thousand United States dollars from her.

The accused is before Magistrate Mark Ngegba of Pademba Road Court no 1 and was arraigned before the court on a count charge of larceny on a dwelling house contrary to section 13 (a) of the larceny act of 1916.

Police alleged that the accused on Sunday 30 July, 2023 at Hill Station in Freetown, with intent to steal entered into the dwelling house of Nenebah Adama Jalloh and stole the sum of five thousand, three hundred United States dollar ($5,300) equivalent to one hundred and nineteen thousand, six hundred new Leones (NLe 119600) property of Nenebah Adama Jalloh.

After the charges were read and explain to the accused no plea was taken.

The prosecutor Sergeant 8975 Ibrahim Saspo Bangura sought for an adjournment indicating that the witnesses are absent in court.

Defense Counsel S. T Koroma made an application for bail on behalf of the accused.

The accused was denied bail and the matter was adjourned to 22nd August 2023 for further hearing.
