Former Leone Stars skipper Umaru Bangura and Kwame Quee have signed short-term agreements with FC Kallon ahead of their CAF Confederation Qualifiers against AS Duaones of Niger later this month.
Speaking to A-Z newspaper, General Manager Tunde Scott said Quee has joined the team, adding that Zengallay will join the rest of the squad soon.
“The news is 100% confirmed. We have seven new signings and these players will be unveiled next week”, he informed.
“These players will create impact as we opt to reach the group stage this year. Last season we couldn’t reach the group stage because of some technical lapses. We are planning some friendly matches as we are trying to have one with Premier League champions Bo Rangers which is good for both sides”, Scott ended.
FC Kallon are set to kick-Off their Confederation Cup campaign against AS Duaones of Niger later this month, but squad depth and experience count a lot and very key in this continental competitions.
FC Kallon last outing in continental tournament they went to next round of the CAF Confederation Cup as they crash out in the second rounds against a team in Egypt, but this time they are hoping to get a good campaign.
