Tunde Michael Korjia, Abdulai Barrie and Abdulai Yambasu on Wednesday 2nd August 2023, remanded in prison by Magistrate Hadiru Daboh of Ross Road Court No.3 for damaging a concrete wall.
The accused were standing trial before the court on two counts charges of malicious damage contrary to Section 51 of the Malicious Damage Act of 1861.
According to the police, the accused on Monday 3rd April 2023, at Grafton in Freetown, maliciously damaged a concrete wall fence value at forty nine million and fifteen thousand Leones, property of Anthony Nelson.
Police further alleged that all accused also maliciously damaged another concrete wall fence valued at seventy-seven million, five hundred Leones property of Lamrana Jalloh.
After the charges were read and explained to the accused they pleaded not guilty of the offence.
Lawyer A.B Kamara made an application for bail on behalf of the accused but was refused by the Magistrate Daboh Meanwhile the matter was adjourned to the 7th August 2023.
