The Sierra Leone Football Association is calling on all Football Academies across the Country to register the Academies as the Football Federation set to implement the FIFA Connect Program in Sierra Leone.
FIFA Connect programme helps members associations (MAs) register all their stakeholders in a systematic way and keep track of players, Coaches, and referees whatever they are in the World.
According the Press Release from the Sierra Leone Football Association the Football Academies must have
1. An Affiliated to and recognized by their respective District and Regional Football Association
2. Must pick up and complete their registration forms at the SLFA Secretariat, Kingtom Freetown
3. The Academies affiliation must paid five Thousand Leones (Le 5, 000) before admission into the system.
The Press Release stated that all Football Academies with affiliation to the Sierra Leone Football Association are bound to enjoyed safe operations within the new global Football ecosystem, with a unique FIFA ID code for all their players and officials.
With these registrations of Academies across the Country there is huge hope for Football development in the Country.
