Twenty-four years old Abdulai Issa Kamara a Scrap Metal dealer on the 10th July 2023 at Milton Margai Technical University Congo Cross branch in the western area in Freetown Stole five yards of 2.5mm2 PVC twin cable, one BA socket outlet, one 13A plug top, one 3*3 ivory box, and other assorted items all to the total value of five thousand eight hundred and thirty-five Leones (5,835,00) Property of Milton Margai Technical University whilst in custody of Bassie Bangura.
When the charge was read and explained to the accused person, he pleaded not guilty.
The prosecutor seeks a short adjournment date for him to get a proper conference with his witness.
Meanwhile, Magistrate Bangura refused bail and sent the accused person to the male correctional centre in Freetown. The matter was adjourned to the 25th of July 2023 for further hearing.
