Magistrate Hadiru Daboh of Ross Road, Court No. 3 on Friday July 7 2023, sentenced 3 accused persons for theft, which includes Mohamed Conteh, Tamba Gbosowa and Alimamy Kamara.
All three accused are charged with a count of larceny contrary to Section 2 of the Larceny Act 1916.
According to the charge sheet for Tamba Gbosowa on Sunday 16 April 2023, at Approved School vehicle garage Wellington, Freetown, stole a set of keys value six hundred Leones, one Akura motor vehicle jeep cylinder head value two thousand five hundred Leones, one motor vehicle tubeless tyre value two hundred five hundred Leones, one black wrangler jeep rim value two thousand five hundred Leones and other items worth of seventy thousand nine hundred Leones (Nle 17,900), property of Mohamed Bangura
Mohamed Conteh on Thursday 29 June 2023, at Black Hall Road, Freetown, did steal one Tecno Android mobile phone value two thousand five hundred Leones, property of Jonathan Thorpe.
Alimamy Kamara on Saturday 24 June 2023, at No. 18 Lower Congo Water, Wellington, Freetown, did steal one Samsung edge mobile phone value six million four hundred Leones, property of Sallamatu Saidu.
All three accused to sentence to 3, 2 and 1 weeks respectively.
