Sierra Leonean Ambassadors Intensify Re-Election For President Bio

In an effort to assuring President Bio’s second term of office ahead of the June 24th General Elections, ambassadors representing different countries have campaigned to the students of Milton Margai Technical University, Brookfields Branch on 17th June 2023 at the university hall in Freetown.

When making the keynote remarks, His Excellency Ambassador Saffa Woya Rogers, Deputy Ambassador/ Charge d’Affaires to the Peoples Republic of China said President Bio’s five years in leadership brought both national and international reputations to Sierra Leone due to his outstanding governance system. He mentioned that the Free Quality Education sewed by President Bio has turned global attention to more support and shared investment drive.

“Today access to education and university entrance have become a real deal of which the past government failed to actualize,” Ambassador Rogers emphasized.

He continued that university lecturers are proud of salary increments which President Bio assured them at the commencement of his five years.  Ambassador Rogers made it clear to the students that the genuine progress the President has shown to top-tier international organizations the likes of the IMF and World Bank has forced them to provide an overwhelming grant for the running of the country’s affairs especially in education, health and infrastructure. Ambassador Rogers urged the students to cast their votes for President Bio in order to live up to the expectations of all Sierra Leoneans.

His Excellency Ambassador Alhaji Brima Elvis Koroma, Ambassador to Senegal said SLPP would remain a peaceful political party and never resort to any riotous conduct. He admitted that the construction of the brand-new Freetown International Airport in Lungi clearly demonstrates the good leadership dynamics of Presidents; adding that it has painted more trust and admiration to international investors.

Ambassador Elvis Koroma said more shining developmental packages are in store for the country when he assumes his second term. He implored the students to vote for President Bio and Mohamed Gento as a Mayor of Freetown.

Lulu Luseni Agba, Public Relations Officer (PRO) of Sierra Leone People’s Party Northern America (SLPPNA) Washington Metro Chapter thanked President Bio for the enactment of the Gender Equality and Empowerment Bill which provides the opportunity for women to partake in governance and decision making. She encouraged the female students to vote for President Bio as a way of complimenting him on his belief and trust in women.

Madam Luseni believes that if President Bio is voted for, he would do more than what he has done for women and school-going children in general.

“On that day, just cast your vote for President Bio, Mohamed Gento and other SLPP would-be parliamentarians, ” Madam Luseni said.

His Excellency Ambassador Samuel Saffa Esq, Deputy Permanent Representative to the United Nations at Geneva said President Bio has made a lot of green flags to the international community. He said through the leadership of President Bio, the country has made tremendous achievements ranging from judiciary aspect, bilateral relationships and diplomacy.

 Ambassador Saffa affirmed that for the first time under President Bio’s hegemony, two Sierra Leoneans have been part of international tribunals and rose from the occasion. He said this development has sent heat waves to many countries in the world.

Brima Maxwell Momoh, student and member of the SLPP Students Chapter Milton Margai Brookfields Branch felt delighted for coming into contact with ambassadors from various countries in the world as well informing the students about the successes of President Bio during his five years tenure of office. He said he would continue to reaffirm his colleagues’ trust in the administration of President Bio by reelecting him for the second time.

Christina Kellie, a student stated that she is hopeful of voting for President in the 24th June general elections. She said with President Bio, the students are assured of better education.
