Masoner Remanded For Theft

23 years old Amadu Kamara a Masoner made his first appearance before magistrates Peter Brima Gogra of Pademba road court No.6 in Freetown on a count of Larceny contrary to section 2 of the Larceny Act 1916.

According to the particulars of offence on Monday the 22nd May 2023 at Blue House, back of the American Embassy in the Western area in Freetown did steal fifteenth length 5/8 iron rods and two blue color barrel empty rubber drum all to the total valued of six thousand one hundred new Leones (6,100) property of Mohamed Turay.

When the charge was read and explained to the accused person, he pleaded not guilty.

The prosecutor seeks a short adjournment date because her witness was absent.

Meanwhile, Magistrate Gogra refused bail and sent the accused person to the male correctional center in Freetown and the matter was adjourned to the 16th June 2023.  Inspector Musu Edna Kpulun is prosecuting the matter.
