The Republic National Independent Party (ReNIP) is going to be the last political party to launch its Manifesto a few days ahead of the general elections; unlike the 2018 elections when the party launched its manifesto much earlier.

Sources within the party have intimated this medium that their manifesto is going to be a full-blown solution based on the transformation of the lives of Sierra Leoneans. They indicated that other political parties spied on what was written to amend theirs which is why this time they did not launch it earlier.

The Presidential candidate for ReNIP, Berresford Victor Williams is optimistic that his party has grown wings in the Southern Region where their manifesto will be launched on June 18th.

“The perception that Bo is a stronghold of the ruling Sierra Leone People’s Party (SLPP) will change this election because people have realized that ReNIP will entirely redeem them from the economic hardship”, said the firebrand politician.

He emphasized that the party has been on meet the people drive which he said has bagged the party over six thousand well-meaning members apart from the rising number of youths now in support of the party, especially in Bo District.

He referred to those in governance as politicians who lack what it takes to transform the country from days immemorial, the people cannot boast of sustainable water supply and electricity. He said his party is committed to exploring avenues to better the lives of the people devoid of regional or tribal lineage.

He argued that Sierra Leoneans deserve better lives which is why his party is fully contesting in these elections.

ReNIP became a full fledge registered political party following the 2018 elections but had started as a movement in 2015. It had made donations to the government of Sierra Leone and vulnerable people in several communities across the country.

Maada Kallon, a graduate of Bo City confirmed that the support base for the Presidential flag bearer and the party has grown rapidly in the district.  He said as an adult, he and some of his students have seen that ReNIP is the real third force the country needs to transform the land. He said they are eager to read the manifesto which he said they will simplify to the youths who are less educated to be abreast with the promises the party is gearing towards.
