The Director and head of the school feeding programme in the Ministry of Basic and Senior Secondary Education (MBSSE) had been commended by enumerators for the school feeding programme for his professionalism and his Passion for the job.
During the recent school feeding training in Bo for the Southern Region school feeding assessment, the enumerators said they are impressed with the way Sengbe Koker Rogers is coordinating the school feeding assessment and the overall operations of the school feeding.
” I have worked for many years under different people at different workplaces. The way director Sengbe Rogers Koker put efforts into ensuring the school feeding programme succeeds in Sierra Leone is unprecedented. This is the type of people I love working with. He is a true Patriot”, Peter Boima said.
Another enumerator Mohamed Nabieu Swaray informed that director Sengbe has a passion for his job. He added that though Rogers Koker is a director of the school feeding programme, he always comes very early to conduct training and ensures that enumerators do what they’re expected to do without a problem.
” He is a young man. He loves his job. I have been observing him for some time now. Sengbe Rogers Koker is a professional. He has manifested professionalism at all times”, he concluded.
School feeding partners also commended the director of school feeding for his leadership in making school feeding a popular programme today.
The enumerators say director Rogers Koker is disciplined and always wants the right things to be done.
The enumerators stressed that it was no mistake that the Bio-led administration appointed Sengbe Rogers Koker as director of the school feeding programme in the Ministry of Basic and Senior Secondary Education (MBSSE).
Since Director Koker was appointed, he has worked with his bosses at the ministry well.
Director Koker has represented Sierra Leone at different functions across the globe for the school feeding programme.
His leadership is top-notch. He has a good working relationship with his staff.
When contacted for his reaction to the praise lavished on him by the emulators for school feeding in a short message he said “I believe in God. Let my work speak for itself self”, he ended.
Director Sengbe Rogers Koker will on Saturday 20&21 May this year conduct training for enumerators for school feeding assessment for the Eastern region. He has completed training in Western Rural, North and South.
