The Causes of Examination Malpractices

Twenty old and New Leones were Given to Invigilators for the National Primary School Examination in the presence of our Reporter that went there to observe the process in all the schools around the peninsular there was a representative from the Anti-Corruption Commission, the Sierra Leone Police.

 NEC officers School Buses and the schools were filled with Parents the examination was well secured all the pupils from different Schools were excited at the time they distributed their question papers some were sad while others are happy by then the first paper that was given to the pupils was Quantitative Aptitude at exactly 9:00 am all Invigilators was in their respective centres.

 Moving around whiles others were outside the school premises moving the school building by then three papers were issued to the pupils after then break time 12:10 pm to 1:10 pm at around 1:10 pm the school bell rang all the pupils went to their respective centres Verbal Aptitude was distributed to the pupils at the said time at 3:43 pm.

 The National Primary School Examination came to an end some pupils were happy when they saw their parents after the examination others didn’t get much love but they took their papers to their respective School teachers in the presence of our Reporter Twenty old and New Leones was issued to all Invigilators around the peninsular after the National Primary School Examination the Invigilators was not happy when they received the said amount of money one Invigilator Calvin Massaqoui.

 Not his real name was interviewed by our Reporter he said he wasn’t expecting such an amount because they have been in the centre since 7:00 to make sure that nothing goes wrong he said after spending the rest of the day in school his wife will be thinking that he will go home with something affordable but with such amount that will not even refund his transportation to and fro it really pathetic for him.

 Talking with one parent who was in the scene she said all the Invigilators has their family and they shouldn’t be treated like that she said that’s the reason why Examination Malpractices is killing the image of the brilliant and potential students we have in Sierra Leone
