National Organizing Secretary for the All People’s Congress Party (APC), Mohamed Don Don Don has warned members and supporters of his party that in politics, one has to wait for his/her turn and see the country as the bigger picture.
The old opposition politician made this disclosure while addressing members of his party during a somewhat low key but high profile meeting at the party headquarters.
He called on them to concentrate on taking the party to the grass root, noting that it is only the people who have the power when it comes to elections come.
He admonished them to play their role well saying the opposition should be seen as watchdog not only waiting for elections. He declared that the party is at crossroads, calling on them to give peace a chance.
He invoked the grace of the Lord to intervene and settle their issues so that the party will return to power 2023.
Youth hanging around the vicinity of the party headquarters have expressed their support for Dr. Samura Kamara noting that any attempt to remove him from the flag bearer position will lead to a big loss for the party.
Political thinkers in the country have opined that the way to salvation for the party is peace and unity adding that selfishness or the desire to stay long in executive positions by the old folks will be counter-productive towards the victory of he party.
