The Sierra Leone People’s Party Executive, supporters, stakeholders and well-wishers of constituency 100 comprising Perri and Gallinass chiefdoms, in Pujehun District, have endorsed Honorable Dickson Momoh Rogers as Member of Parliament for live.
They made this statement in a jubilant mood at the Roman Catholic Primary School Field in Blame Town Gallines Chiefdom during a courtesy visit of President Dr Julius Maada Bio to the constituency.
Speaking to thousands of party supporters, Abu Kpukumu, the Constituency Chairman registered his gratitude to the honourable Dickson Momoh for his developmental initiatives in the constituency disclosing that out of over 600 communities, every village and town had benefited from his developmental work. Mr Kpukumu outlined the achievements of Honorable Dickson Rogers over the years.
“During these five years in office as Member of Parliament, he has constructed and rehabilitated feeder roads, bridges, culverts, Health Centres, Schools, court barrays and Bondo houses.”
He continued that the MP had helped to improve Agriculture through mechanized farming, provision of scholarships to school-going children, and small-scale Loan to women in rural communities among others.
The Chairman further said the development became a reality in his constituency when Honorable Dickson Rogers went to parliament. He, therefore, pleaded with the Member of Parliament to continue the good work for the benefit of all and sundry and not to listen to detractors.
Moses Massaquoi, a native of Blama town thanked Honorable Dickson Rogers for his developmental initiative in making sure development is taken to the chiefdoms in his constituency. He stated that Honorable Dickson is among the few developmental-oriented stakeholders in the district who has his people at heart by bringing in development in and out of his constituency. He described him as a ‘TOK EN DO’ MP as he always answered the needs of the people in terms of distress or happiness. He, therefore, endorsed Honorable Dickson Momoh Rogers as a Member of Parliament for life.
The Former Secretary General of All Peoples Congress Party in Pujehun, Ken Kamara, equally registered his support and endorsement for Honorable Dickson Momoh Rogers for his humanitarian assistance in promoting and bringing development to the doorstep of his people. He recalled that since he was in opposition all the development undertaken by Honorable Dickson Rogers was impressive and no Member of Parliament for the past 30 years, had done much for the people of Constituency 100. He concluded by assuring him of his continued support at all times.
