Fatima Bio Vows To Be Campaign Manager For Hon.  Dickson Rogers

The First Lady of the Republic of Sierra Leone, Fatima Maada Bio has declared support for the current Member of Parliament (MP) for Constituency 100, Hon Dickson Momoh Rogers, and also vowed to be his campaign manager for his re-election.

The First Lady described Hon.  Dickson Rogers as the people’s MP who always strives to bring developmental projects to his constituents and even beyond, hence she declared her support for the MP and assured him that she would be his campaign manager for him.

One thing I admire about who you are is the fact that you are the people’s MP, you are serving your people, and you are there for your people always. So today, I hereby endorse you as MP for Pujehun district; even though I hardly declare for MPs but I want you to know that I am your campaign manager “, First Lady Fatima Bio endorsed.

Madam Fatima Bio affirmed that Hon. Dickson is loved by his people because of the selfless services he renders to them.  She added that a good number of MPs hardly visit their constituents but Hon Dickson Rogers is always with his people.

On behalf of the president and the party’s general membership, Madam Fatima Bio thanked Hon Dickson Momoh Rogers for making the job easy for their party (the SLPP).

The First Lady underscored that their political party is strong because of the relentless efforts of People like Hon Dickson Rogers noting that, he is immensely working towards actualizing the SLPP manifesto and knows exactly which positive direction to go.

She revealed that the first family and entourage decided to spend a night with Hon. Dickson Momoh Rogers because of the active and relentless role he plays in actualizing the party’s manifesto.

On his part, President Julius Maada Bio also made similar sentiments and implored the people of Pujehun to give their endless support to Hon. Dickson Momoh Rogers for more development in their constituency and district in particular.

In his statement, Hon. Dickson Momoh Rogers expressed gratitude and elation to the first family for recognizing his service to his people and the nation at large. He assured the President and his wife of continuously bringing the government’s development agenda to his constituency and the people of Pujehun District.

 “My constituency remains the only constituency without a local (palm tree) bridge. I have singlehandedly changed almost all the palm stump bridges to single and double box culvert bridges in all the communities across my constituency and beyond. I want to assure you of more sustainable developments “, Hon Dickson Momoh Rogers asserted.

Meanwhile, the first family also used the visit to commission the first female boarding home in Bumpeh Town, Perri Chiefdom Pujehun District. The Boarding Home was named “the Dr. Fatima Maada Bio Boarding Home for Girls”.

The First Lady expressed her appreciation to the Honorable Member of Parliament and described the initiative as a laudable one that would help retain more girls in school in that part of the country.
