Thirty-Seven years old Henry Dumbuya a building contractor and twenty eight years old Vingoster Komba Sumana Gbarie a sand minder made their first appearance before Magistrate Santigie Bangura of Pademba road court No.3 in Freetown on three count charges.
One count of Wounding contrary to Section 20 of the offences against the person Act 1861 and two counts ranging from Assault occaisioning actual bodily harm contrary to section 47 of the offences against the person Act 1861.
According to the particulars of offence, on Monday 27th March 2023 at White Man’s Bay Murray Town the western area in Freetown maliciously wounded and assaulted chief inspector Abubakar Koroma
The charges was read and explained to both accused persons and they pleaded guilty
Meanwhile Magistrate Bangura adjourned the matter and sent both accused persons to the male correctional center in Freetown for record and sentenced matter adjourned to the 3rd April 2023 for further hearing Deputy Superintendent of police Saio Conteh is prosecuting the matter.
