It has been reported that Ibrahim Mansaray and Yusuf Kamara are in police net for possession of illegal drugs.
This was disclosed in an interview with the information officer two of the Bo West police division Constable 19138 Alhaji Usman Mansaray.
The information officer said that on Thursday 9th March 2023 at the Fallah checkpoint in the presence of the Assistant Inspector General southern region (AIG) Harold Andrew Michael Charles Hanciles, police at the said checkpoint conducted a thorough search on various vehicles plying the Bo- Freetown highway.
On the fateful day they arrested Ibrahim Mansaray for possession of at least fifteen packets of tramadol and Yusuf Kamara also in possession of sixteen compressed plastic of dried leaves suspected to be cannabis sativa.
He further told this medium that the two young men were later taken to the Transnational Organize Crime Unit at the aforementioned police division for investigation and that both suspects claimed ownership of the illegal drugs.
However, authorities in the district have applauded the Police for a job well done and urged them to be more vigilante in combating illegal drugs or smugglers from into entering into the country.
