27yrs old Abdul Aziz Williams made his first appearance before Magistrate Peter Brima Gogra of Pademba road court No.6 in Freetown on one count charge to wit Larceny contrary to section 2 of the Larceny Act 1916.
According to the particulars of offence on Sunday 5th March 2023 at Tidos Beach bar, Lumley beach Aberdeen the western area in Freetown Stole six flasks, five shisha pots, six shisha flavour, one cartoon sardines, one cartoon powdered milk, one big bottle mayor, three tins Ovaltine and six packets of sugar all to the total sum of ten thousand six hundred new Leones (10,600,00) property of Theresa Tity Brewa.
The charge was read and explained to the accused person and he pleaded not guilty.
The prosecutor Deputy Superintendent of police Marie Sesay told the bench that her witness was absent and requested for a short adjournment date, while the accused person was legally unrepresented.
Meanwhile, Magistrate Gogra refused bail and sent the accused person to the male correctional centre in Freetown and adjourned to the 23rd March 2023 for further hearing.
