Real Republicans Football Club in their penultimate match for the first round of the 2022/23 Sierra Leone Premier League season subdued Ports Authority FC 1-0 at Angola field to return to winning ways a moment they had failed to enjoy in their last four matches suffered three defeats and a goalless draw away to Old Edwardians FC.
Ibrahim Sesay’s 23-minute strike in the first half of the match proceedings was enough to deliver the Soccer Ambassadors to winning ways also marking the fifth win they have registered in the league, while the club’s skipper Henry K. Koroma was awarded the player of the match following his exceptional performance.
