East End Lions Football Club  Parts Ways With Head Coach Francis Zappa Koroma

East End Lions Football Club and Head Coach Francis Zappa Koroma have on 18th February 2023 mutually agreed to part ways.

According to the East End Lions Football Club, this came Following discussions between Coach Zappa and the board, it was deemed that the team’s results this season have fallen short of expectations, and therefore, it is in the best interest of both parties to go our separate ways.

The club would like to express its appreciation to Coach Zappa for his dedication and hard work during his tenure with us. We wish him all the best in his future endeavours.

In the meantime, Raymond Gerald Hunter will take over the role of interim head coach of the first team.

The search for a permanent successor has already commenced, and we will keep our supporters updated as the process develops. Our primary focus is to ensure that our talented squad reaches its full potential.

The club will not provide further comments until a new appointment is made.

East End Lions Football Club lost to bitter rivals Port Authority Football Club by a goal nil on 17th February 2023 at the Brima Attouga Complex and following that result, the club parted ways with him to avoid the poor run of the club as they want to lift the Sierra Leone Premier League. The last time they lifted the trophy unbeaten was in 2019 with John Keister being the head coach.
