A male pedestrian believed to be in his early forties name and address unknown is at the Koidu Government Hospital Mortuary for identification and burial after a white jeep with registration number yet unknown knocked him down along Masingbi road and died on the spot.
The said fatal road accident according to Police source occurred on Saturday 4th February, 2023 at approximately 22: 46 hours. However the address and name of the driver in control of the unknown vehicle are still not yet known and the police is encouraging all and sundry in Koidu City and Kono District as a whole to help them with any relevant information that would lead to the arrest of the driver and the said vehicle. The remains of the unknown deceased are still at the Koidu Government Hospital Mortuary for postmortem examination.
