Electrician Granted Le20m Bail For Phone Theft

27yrs old Thomas Jarsin Coker an electrical installer made his first appearance before Magistrate Sahr Kekura of Ross Road Court No.1 in Freetown on one count charge to wit Larceny contrary to section 2 of the Larceny Act 1916.

According to the particulars of offence on the 12th March 2022 at Shell Old Road low cost Junction Kissy Road the western area in Freetown did steal quality of assorted mobile phones, manuals and android all to the total value of thirteen thousand New Leones(13,000) property of Ibrahim Sesay.

The charge was read and explained to the accused person and he pleaded not guilty.

The accused person was unrepresented by a legal representative.

Meanwhile, Magistrate Kekura granted the accused person bail in the sum of twenty thousand Leones or one surety in like sum.

 Surety must be resident in Freetown, surety should produce valid identity card depicting his or her addresses in Freetown.

 Bail to be approved by the Deputy assistant Registrar. The Matter is adjourned to the 15th February 2023 for further hearing.
