25yrs old Abdul Conteh a Masoner made his first appearance before Magistrate Sahr Kekura of Ross Road Court No.1 in Freetown on one count charge to wit Larceny contrary to section 2 of the Larceny Act 1916.
According to the particulars of offence on Saturday 21st January 2023 at Hastings the western area in Freetown did steal one vehicle motor gram shaft valued at thirty four thousand five hundred new Leones(34,500) Property of Ministry of Health and Sanitation whilst in custody of Saffa Harding.
The charge was read and explained to the accused person and he pleaded guilty.
Meanwhile, the prosecutor Assistant Superintendent of police Osman M Bangura applied for a Subpoena to be served to the exhibit clerk.
The application was granted by Magistrate Kekura, he sent the accused person to the male correctional center in Freetown.
The matter was adjourned to the 3rd February 2023 for further hearing.
