Trader Cautioned and Discharged for Loitering

Alhaji Kamara a trader made his first appearance before Magistrate Peter Brima Gogra of Pademba Road Court No.6 in Freetown on one count charge to wit Loitering with intent contrary to section 8 of the Public Order Act No.46 of 1965.

According to the particulars of offence, on 24th January 2023 at Regent Square Municipal School at Light Foot Boston Street in the Western Area in Freetown, was found loitering with intent to commit a felony.

The prosecutor police constable 14071 Mustapha Massaqoui, told the bench that fact as charge no available records was found against the accused person.

The accused person was unrepresented by legal representative but he pleaded with the court to temper justice with mercy that he is a single parent adding that, he was out there selling goods for the survival of his kids.

Magistrate Gogra due to the plea mitigation by the accused person, cautioned and discharged the accused person.
