In COFA Inter-Community League: President Bio’s Trophy To End This Weekend

The Central One Football Association inter Community League is set to Climax this Saturday at the Parade grounds as Kroo Town Road Community will lock horns with Summer City Community.

The competition which kicks off with (32) Community teams and has now reached its climax stage as two big Communities set to face each other in the grand finale.

Alimamy Sesay the head of Media for the Central One Football Association said they have put all things in place to see the finals materialized on the 17th of December 2022 at the Parade grounds. Nothing that the Chief Sponsored of the Competition His Excellency President Julius Maada Bio and her Excellence in collaboration with Ahmed Gento Kamara is set to be part of the grand final on Saturday alongside the Minister of Sports and another administrator in the World of Sports.

He further that, they have met with the two Communities that made it to the finals and held fruitful discussions ahead of the finals as to what they need to know about the finals and how they need to prepare their teams, and the behaviour of their Fans coming to the match day. Nothing that they have also toured around the two Communities preaching about none Violence and largely how the fans need to behave come to the finals. He noted that the in the area of Security they have put all things in to ensure that they get successful.

He affirmed that they reached an agreement with the two finalists that they need to work with the rules and regulations that govern the Competitions and it is one more than is fear play in and outside the pitch of play adding that the fans need to comport themselves and is they don’t want the final to be a replay and the team needs to report early before the kick-off time which is at 4 pm.

Alimamy Sesay said after the grand final they will have an award night to give awards to the players that scored the highest goals, the best player in the tournament, the more behave community team, and many more awards. Nothing that the Price for this year’s grand is just ten (Le 10) reason being they want more Football Fans to witness the final in a colorful way to end the competition.

Mohamed Yapo Sillah the Director of Competitions said they have made inroads in ensuring that they get a successful final at the Parade grounds, noting that they have contacted the LUC for the Freetown Emmanuel Samadia the about the grand being the head of Police for Freetown East to help them with proper security to man the final for the Association.
