The Chief Executive Officer of the Jesus and Jehovah (J&J) Produce Store in Koidu city alias Jermel has promised to improve the lives of farmers in Kono District and the country as a whole. He made the statement during the just concluded 2020 raffle draw competition held at the Koidu Community Football Field – Bona Street, Koidu city.
According to the CEO of the J&J Produce Store, his aspiration is to support farmers with reliance on political will to buttress his effort. He is therefore pleading with the SLPP led government for support in order to actualise his aspirations for the betterment of farmers.
Mohamed Fatorma Mondeh from Fiama Chiefdom in Kono District is the farmer that won the star price for the aforesaid 2020 raffle draw competition which is a Toyota Nissan opened vehicle. Other enviable prices were also won such as, Radio, New Song, taxi drivers, bike riders and other farmers for doing business with J&J produce store.
Making a remark, the Star Price Winner Mohamed Fatorma Mondeh expressed delight for being winner of the star price describing it as hard won.
He pointed out that his success did not come as a surprise as he is one of the farmers that owns the largest cocoa farm. He commended the CEO of the J &J Produce Store for improving on their lives, noting that gone are the days when farmers were referred to as the poorest set of people especially in Africa. Winners of the other prices lavished praises on the Chief Executive Officer of the J&J Produce Store for the raffle draw competition and urged him to do more.
