The Bo Rangers fan club has on the 14th October 2022 presented One Hundred and Twenty (120) match balls on behalf of the Team Manager of the country’s male national team Leone Stars, and Chairman of Bo Rangers FC, Babadi Kamara to the Sierra Leone Female Premier league Board, ahead of their Maiden edition of the Female top-tier 2022/23 league season.
The handing over of match balls to members of the Female Premier League Board took place at the country’s Football Association Secretariat at Kingdom.
The opening ceremony fixture of this maiden edition of the country’s top-tier Women’s Premier League will feature two provincial teams; football pundits have described the fixture as a clash of female football dominance.
The Wusum field in Makeni is set to open the inaugural edition of the first-ever female elite league season match between Mena Queens from Makeni vs Kahunla Queens from Kenema. The stakes are high now, and not many football lovers from across the country will afford to miss such a glamorous history-making opening ceremony.
This will mark another milestone in female football development in the country as players will be scouted to represent the country with a solid squad from different categories.
