The mandate of the Sierra Leone Police is to provide better security services to the people of Sierra Leone and therefore, the immaculate and experienced Local Unit Commander, Bo West Division Chief Superintendent of Police, Mr. Michael J.K Lagga depicted the enthusiasm and proactive in the fight against crime in Bo City.
According to Lagga, he implored colleagues LUC’s in the Southern Region to collectively work to achieve one goal in always lifting the flag of the Sierra Leone Police.
Before my transfer as the Local Unit Commander, Bo West Division, I had proactively succeeded in knockdown some hardcore criminals for some major offences ranging from Arm Robbery, housebreaking, the arrest of some Q. Net staff involved in fraud and the successful policing of the National exercise “Voter Registration”.
” I want to appreciate colleagues and Police Officers for the individual contributions in ensuring that the SLP remains a “Force for Good,” he said
He reaffirmed that he believes in collective work and inclusion which enables him to succeed in his leadership.
“I know during the rains, thieves and other criminals do take advantage of situations so I have my strategies to maintain calmness in my area of responsibility,” he opened.
The newly transferred Support Officer, Assistant Superintendent of Police, (ASP) Mr. Almamy Libo Bangura of Bo West Division, guaranteed the LUC that he will monitor to ensure and enforce full compliance of Police Officers under his command.
