Police Sergeant Issa Kamara on the 3rd October 2022 during the preliminary investigation into the alleged murder of Memunatu Bangura tendered the exhibits before magistrate Mark Ngegba of Pademba road court No1.

The accused persons Mai Dumbuya, Tamba Lebbie, Alfred Kargbo, Ishmael Samura and Peter Kalokoh are arraigned in court on two counts charges ranging from conspiracy and murder contrary to law.

According to the police it was alleged that the accused persons on Sunday 5th May 2022, at Big Water, Main Peninsula Road in Goderich Freetown conspired together with other persons to murder Memunatu Bangura.

The six prosecution witness on the Goderich Big Water murder matter involving Mai Dumbuya and three others, detective Police Sergeant 8576 Issa Kamara attached to the exhibit office has produced two white T. Shirt, one pick axe, a machete in respect of the matter.

Led by Assistant Superintendent of Police Ibrahim Mansaray, the exhibit clerk  is responsible to handle all exhibit that are brought in the station, register them and present them in court when needed.

He said on the 17th of June 2022, detective inspector Karim JM attached to the homicide unit at the Criminal Investigation Department handed over to him two white T shirt, one pick axe and a machete  which he register in the court exhibit book against serial number 26/ 2022. He said since then they have been in his custody.

The items were produced, tendered and marked in respect of the Prosecution’s case.

In cross examination by defence counsel Emmanuel Teddy Koroma Esq the witness confirmed that as custodian of the said exhibit he did not  have any forensic examination on the exhibits.

At the conclusion of cross examination, the matter was adjourned to the 11th of October 2022 for the prosecution to take their next witness.
