Young Grassroot Aspirant Declares Intention For Constituency 012

Abraham Kpama Jusu, a young grassroots aspirant declared his intention for constituency 012 ahead of the race for Sierra Leone People’s Party symbol on Friday 16th September 2022, in Constituency 012 Dama Chiefdom Kenema District.

 In his opening remark, Abraham Kpama Jusu thanked his constituent members for their overwhelming welcome; adding that the reason why he should be awarded the symbol was to represent them in the well of parliament.

 He said that the principal roles of a Member of Parliament are to debate and make Laws that will benefit his/her constituency and also to do oversight commitment. “If I am giving the symbol and become a Member of Parliament, I will use this opportunity to lobby with colleague policymakers to bring a shared development and prosperity in my constituency,” Jusu said.

He revealed that he would continue to strengthen unity and increase capacity for the fostering of President Bio’s flagship program.

 Abraham Kpama Jusu affirmed that he would stay steadfast in resolving situational disputes among neighbouring villages within and outside his constituency. 

He urged members of his constituency to be respectful of the law and uphold a common goal. “Rest assured that if I become a Member of Parliament I will establish a fostering stability and frown against all forms of the embargo,” Abraham Kpama Jusu said. 

He said there had been a clarion call from President Bio and the party stewards that they should go out in their numbers to register for the 2023 General Election.

 He said only registrations that would motivate him of becoming the next Honorable Member of Parliament. 

The declaration process climaxed with traditional dance that comprised youths and the ageing people from his constituency.

Abraham Kpama Jusu remained highly enthusiastic ahead of the Sierra Leone People’s Party symbol race. “I am Not Young to Lead,” Kpama disclosed.
