24yrs old Ishmael Conteh a business man made another appearance before Magistrate Peter Gogra of Pademba road court No.6 in Freetown on two count charges to wit Assault occasioning actual bodily harm and Being in possession of offensive weapon.
According to the particulars of offence on Thursday 8th August 2022 at the Geography Department area Fourah Bay College the mountain rural district the western area in Freetown assaulted Momodu Bangura in a manner thereby occasioning him actual bodily harm and on count two at the same place and date the accused person was found in possession of offensive weapon to wit knife without lawful authority or reasonable excuse.
The charges were read and explained to the accused person and pleaded not guilty.
Meanwhile, Magistrate Gogra granted the accused person bail in the sum of twenty thousand Leones with two sureties in like sum sureties to produce valid identity card one surety to be employed; bail to be approved by the Bench.
Inspector Musu Edna Kpulun prosecuting the matter and was adjourned to the 30th September 2022 for further hearing.
