46yrs old Adam Sesay a Trader and 47yrs old Shinnoh Sainor Mansaray a Trader made another appearance before Magistrate Mark Ngegba of Pademba road court No.1 in Freetown on one count charge to wit Unlawful Procession contrary to section 17 (3) of the Public Order Act 1965 Act No.46 of 1965.
According to the particulars of offence on Wednesday 10th August 2022 at Congo Town Bridge the western in Freetown were found and partaking in an Unlawful Procession.
Inspector Kadie M Taylor Led Prosecution third witness (PW3) Sergeant 8576 Issa Kamara attached to the exhibit office at the Criminal Investigation Department CID headquarters Pademba Road Freetown.
The witness said some of his duties and responsibilities is to ensure registration of all exhibit brought in related to matters reported for investigation and recalled on the 7th September 2022 inspector Kargbo A.D attached to the Criminal Investigation Department CID headquarters Pademba Road handed over to him a blue card indicating DPP, we need Freedom of speech alleged carried by Adama Sesay and the other card belongs to DPP, we are suffering, and police brutality alleged to be carried by Sannoh Mansaray.
The said exhibit where registered against serial number RCB 29/2022 since then it has been in the custody of the police the said exhibit was produced and tendered as exhibit A1 for the first accused person and the second accused person as exhibit B for the second accused person.
Cross examination by defense counsel Lansana Dumbuya and later renewed his previous bail applications on behalf of both accused persons.
However, Magistrate Ngegba refused bail and sent the accused persons to the female Correctional center in Freetown, and matter was adjourned to the 19th September 2022.
